Computer Repair Questions

1. Do you charge a bench fee like “bigbox pc repair store xyz”?

Yes; however, it is not outrageous. It’s only $25 and is waived if you decide to have us service your computer. This covers the time that has been taken away from other repair jobs to check out a new computer. If we can’t fix it because we don’t know how, this fee will be waived, and you pay nothing. We will just return your computer to you and all we ask for in return is a good word to all your friends and family to allow us to try to help them with their issues. The bench fee only applies when we tell customers we can fix it and they decline our services.

2. What is turnaround time like with PCRepairWV?

Turnaround time varies depending on how busy we are and if parts have to be ordered. If no parts have to be ordered, expect your computer back within 48-72 hours. If parts have to be ordered it will generally be by close of the following Friday.

3. I need you here NOW, because my server is down / the electric went out and took out a workstation / we have viruses running rampant, can you get here in time?

We also have emergency service where we will drop everything and arrive on site GUARANTEED within the hour. This service will cost 1.5x normal rate, but it’s the best service we can possibly offer. 4. I’m not looking to spend a lot on repairs, my computer is old, how much is this going to cost me?
