We are now adding a new package to our maintenance contract offerings. We understand that with small business you don’t need all the bells and whistles of a full-time I.T. department, and most of the time you don’t even need someone charging you to be on retainer. This is why we are offering the bare necessities package. It is only $25 per computer per month and will cover any problems you may have so long as they can be repaired REMOTELY and within 20 hours per month. If your internet is down for any reason and we can’t access your computer via our remote software, a scheduled on-site visit will have to be arranged.

Any hourly charges from on-site work or going over the 20 hours will be billed at 1/2 rate of $65 (the hourly rate as of now for commercial assistance) instead of the full amount. Please also keep in mind, this package does NOT guarantee less than a 48 hour time frame, although it’d be rare for us to not get to a problem as soon as we were made aware of it via phone, email, or text message.

We will have an intern for the next few months assisting and learning from our lead technician, Justin Waugh. This will be a great opportunity for JTekNet to see what expanding the business will soon be like, as well as a great experience for Fairmont State student, Aaron Steiding to grab a hold of the reins and do everything in the business to get some hands on experience. He will do everything from repair computers under his supervisor, to accepting computers when the supervisor is on-site. He will deal with paperwork that has to be done, virus removals, optimizing hard drives, upgrading memory, installing new hard drives, and even data restorations.
